After that, in order to find his mother and get her forgiveness, he goes on a journey full of obstacles. Through this trip, he learns values such as respect towards nature, compassion and self-sacrifice. This tale offers an interesting reflection on the definition of beauty, one of Wilde’s favourite themes. The Star-Child is a perfect introduction for anyone who is interested in discovering the author’s universe, regardless of the age!
