Collection of prose poems by Marcel Dugas Words in freedom (1944). EPub edition . 142 pages. Introduction by Pierre Turcotte.
Marcel Dugas (1883-1947), Quebec poet, essayist and literary critic, was a precursor of modernity in Quebec. He was one of the few poets to take the prose poem as a means of expression, with rare happiness. His poetic enthusiasm, both urban and intimate, is expressed with great virtuosity and erudition. Words in freedom , the second issue of our Magma Poetry Collection, is his latest collection. A major work to be rediscovered.
