Poetry contest for children

PRESENTATION OF THE COMPETITION
International poetry competition open to children. The aim of the competition is to encourage the writing and reading of poetry among young people, to value poetry from an early age and to develop creativity.
Each entry must be accompanied by parental authorization. Parents must agree to the possible publication of their child's poem in the anthology of young poets. A photo will be requested for the 3 contest winners for promotional purposes. All the poems (as well as the photos of the three winners) may be reproduced in whole or in part for the promotion of the anthology and the competition, as well as in the years to come, as long as the competition exists.
No royalty is paid to the authors on the sale of the anthology, but the authors remain the owners of their creation, do not transfer their rights to the publisher, and can dispose of their poem as they see fit.
All correspondence will be addressed to parents, never to children. All entrants will receive a response whether or not they are winners and whether or not they are chosen to be published in the anthology. The important thing is to participate and encourage the poetic expression and imagination of children. The selected poems may be subject to spelling or stylistic retouching and formatting in order to make them publishable.
THE RULES
Age limit: 12 years old
Theme: Friendship
French language
Participation fees: Free.
Length: 4 to 20 lines.
Number of poems: only 1 per participant.
Type of poetry: all types, free or rhymed verses.
Format: Times New Roman font, 12 point, single interval, left aligned.
Sending: The poem must be copied and pasted in the participation form sent by the parents.
The poem must be unpublished and original. Any plagiarism will be excluded from the competition.

The jury's judgment will be final and without appeal.

THE PRICES
The three winners:
Golden Illumination: Poem published in the anthology with honors, copy of the free digital book, publication of the poem on the publisher's website, diploma of Golden Illumination.
Silver Illumination: Poem published in the anthology with honors, publication of the poem on the publisher's website, Silver Illumination diploma.
Bronze illumination: Poem published in the anthology with mention, publication of the poem on the publisher's website, diploma for bronze illumination.
Participants selected for publication:
Poem published in the anthology, diploma of illuminated.
Participants not selected for publication:
Diploma of participation.
COMPETITION CALENDAR
April 15, 2021: deadline for sending the online participation form (sent by parents).
April 20, 2021: publication of the competition results on the publisher's website and social networks.
May 3, 2021 : publication of the digital anthology Les jeunes poètes illuminés .
